I had a '91 that was my first brand new car(truck). That thing was awesome on gas and I put a LOT of miles on in between my Mom's house 35 min. away and friends in Akron and Columbus.

The gas tank was smaller for starters- my beast has a 25 gallon tank. At the height of the gas crunch earlier this year, my fill ups were around $80. I just filled him up last week and it only cost me $27! I almost fell over!
