Personally, I don't see why the boy's middle name had to be included on the cake..."Adolf" most likely would not have elicited a bad response.

I can see why some stores might not want to print such things on a cake...it could be a prank as far as they know, and if anyone found out about it, their store might gain a bad reputation for advocating Nazism or something equally absurd. I think this may have been a lose-lose situation for Shoprite.

Peronally, I think the parents need to be smacked for naming their child after someone who carried out mass genocide. I know the kid is going to suffer a lot growing up and when he's an adult due to that name.
