Amex is doing this to everyone. I am so happy today. I cancelled all my Amex cards. Went to JP Morgan/Chase and they gave me an "immediate" Visa and M/C with $15,000 limit on each to start off with. They said they are picking up a lot of business from Amex customers that Amex screwed. My credit score is 710 so no problems with Chase.
