I was with Amex for 10 years, and three months ago, they canceled my card without even notifying me. I literally used it an hour before I tried to use it again, and was denied! I told the customer service rep that I hope the company goes under and she loses her job. It wasn't fair to her, but imagine my frustration when I'm denied a $4 transaction after I had just used it for a $50 meal an hour before. I will never, ever go back to Amex.
