I've been an AMEX for 27 years. A "valued" customer. Bullshit. Lsst evening,on MEMORIAL DAY!, they called to give me the "courtesy call" that my limit has been reduced from a NO SET LIMIT to $3700.00!! This was after 2 months ago arbitrailarly and without notice reduced by 2 business accounts from $5000 each to $500 each!! What a business card that will be!!! I have done more for Amercian Express in the last 27 years than they have ever done and could ever do for me. I promoted the benefit of the card to friends, family who carried visa/mastercard and to merchants who were refusing the card. I have universally promoted the company. I have charged over $1,000,000 on my cards of the years. In 27 years I have been late 30 days only a couple of times and none in the past five years. NO MORE!! Chenualt should be fired immediately from this compnay. He has NO IDEA that the tenured AMEX cardholder communtiy is the very foundation of his company and that foundation is crumbling rapidly. I too after 27 years will be cancelling all cards with AMEX effective immediately. To hell with them. No more. Their 27 years of good will has been trashed in a single phone call.
