is pretty good about their public image too.

i read one popular computer blog where the writer was having trouble with his computer.

his first macbook had an issue so he sent it back for a replacement.

the second had an issue so he took it in to the local store... but they couldn't replace it because the model was slightly different than the ones they carried.

so he sent it back again...

while waiting for the replacement he got a phone call from Apple, the "office of steve jobs"

the call was to apologize for the issue and they offered him some free software. couldn't give him an iphone (the guy was half kidding about that) but they did give him some free stuff at least and they were very friendly.



so yeah... id be surprised if he didn't hear something back.


besides, apple does have one of the highest ratings in customer satisfaction - according to consumer reports too
