There is some crossover but they operate two separate P&L's. It's similar in the company I work for. We are really 3 companies under one umbrella, some depots are part of Company A, some Company B and Company C is just their one depot. Although the same company umbrella, they all have separate P&L's so pulling business from Company B will not have any effect on Company A. It's all under one CEO but beyond that, each company has their own chain of command. They even cross market in the same area. I'm serviced at my home by Company A but my neighbor is Company B.
