First, I didn't know Joe's Crab Shack was still around!
Second: The gratuity is a 'suggested' gratuity. You can speak with a manager to have it removed (though, if I had a problem warranting that, I'd probably just pay the bill but never return).
Third. As stated before, you should have addressed the price discrepancy immediately with someone.
