I can't remember who said it, but there's a quote along the lines of, "I may not like what you say, but I will fight for your right to say it." With that in mind, I will definitely be giving the Superbowl a pass this year. CBS is airing that ad not because they WANT to, but because they're being PAID to. We can petition and complain all we want, but in the end, the best way to communicate our opinion of the ad is to pick up our remotes and turn the TV off/ to another channel.

Also, I suspect CBS may be relying on the controversy of the ad to drum up some "looky-loos" and media coverage. It's just like the "wardrobe malfunction" several years ago.
