And have you considered claiming your broken phone as part of your insurance claim for the accident? After all, it was due to that incident that the phone was a loss. I'm obviously, not sure of the specifics of your policy, but it certainly couldn't hurt to try. At the least, perhaps they would cover the $150 to replace the touch screen.
