I highly doubt they are going to make a screen that will stand up to an auto accident nor are they going to provide insurance for that event. You should look into filing a claim with your auto insurance. We are doing the same for my broken GPS. I'm not blaming Garmin for the damage, I'm blaming the person who hit me.
