I absolutely agree with you, they should have had parachutes in the Twin Towers. Many lives would have been saved. They should have had parachutes on every floor and rope ladders so the can crawl down to safety. They could have had a safety drill thats teaches them how to use the parachutes and rope ladders and other fire drills. I cannot believe that they did not have these especially after the 93 bombing. Some people say, well if they dont open the parachute correctly then it could lead to death. Well not having a parachute or rope ladder will certaintly lead to death as they had nothing to help them to get out. And Im sure the victims of 9/11 would have gladly used these. I wish that those poor people would have had rope ladders and parachutes so bad, but its too late. But its not too late to make sure all high rise building and towers equip all floors in case of disaster. I think it should be mandatory by law to have these in all buildings.
