How long of a warranty did you have? Some of the problems may have been covered under the warranty. It seems that this machine is over 3 years old.

Sometimes the simplest explanations work. We've learned that when water doesn't drain from the washer tub, we need to check the hoses for a sock or other tiny item. This is a check and repair that Mr.olie can do all by himself.

He also bought me some "washer bags". I love them!! I put all of my socks in one, do the wash, and then I don't have to worry about a sock getting stuck in the hose. And I don't have to sort my socks until I'm ready to.

(Everyone does his/her own laundry here. I got tired of Son.olie bragging that he was taller than I am, when he was in 5th grade. I finally said, "You know what that means? It means that you can reach into the bottom of the washer! So you can do your own laundry!!" Teen.olie didn't learn from her brother's mistake. And we got a front-loader. But still.)
