turn in the coupon. If 100 customers redeem this coupon at this particular store, that's an extra $11 for the store. Chump change for the store? Maybe. But the computer seems to allow it.
The coupon did not say, "Buy 2, get one free". Which is what the computer tried to give the customer.
The coupon said, "Buy 3, get $2.50 off". Unless each item cost 83 cents(or less) to begin with, the customer should get the entire $2.50 off.
I think OP is paying careful attention to her purchases and final bill. I know I'd likely not even notice, until I got home. I'd kick myself for not paying attention, but let it drop. My Target is more than 11-cents-worth of gas away.
I'd be interested to read what the Kraft coupon said, and why OP was not allowed to use it. (I begin reading the first replies, then move up the page. I apologize if this has already been addressed.)
The cheese should have been removed from the bill, if it was returned from the OP's bags.
