September 26, 2010 was a Sunday. Any chance they were closing at 6pm right when you walked in? They may have been upset about that, although they shouldn't be in a restaurant environment like that.

But, if you play the system by ordering two different halves of one sub in order to save money, than give people some slack and just get your toppings, have them cut it in half and whatever "lands" on whoevers half they don't want...pick it out for crying out loud.

Although I expect good service wherever I go, I always weigh the balance of what I'm getting and how much I am paying for it. So, if I have to pick a few toppings that I don't want or like off the "special order" sub I just purchased I'm happy to do just that.

It's a $5.00 sub, not a fifty thousand dollar car.
