I work for a local maine company. the sign out front may say mobil, but mobil does not sign my paycheck. the company owns a chain of convenience stores that simply pay licence fees to mobil/shell/citgo to use the name. I am underpaid, but i dont complain, its a job. I am not a slave to any oil company, my bosses choose to do business with them, and we also have a couple unbranded stations.
