Why would you want to pray in a store to begin with? And that's definitely quite brazen to suggest that there is only "one real God." Yes, maybe to you there's only one real deity, but other folks may pray to another deity (or even Satan), multiple gods, or no gods at all. That's pretty much rounding up every single belief system that is not based on one god and saying they're all meaningless in comparison.

I cannot tell from the letter if you're just walking around the store praying to yourself or trying to "save" people...odds are if you weren't allowed to pray in the store, you were probably irritating other customers by foisting your beliefs on them. Most people do not want to be coaxed into a religion or told how they're going to burn in hell forever if they don't convert.

Personally, I would not go into a store that allowed preachy religious fanatics to harass me about joining their faith. I'm sure the store does not want to drive off folks like its Pagan, Muslim or atheist customers (just to name a few).
