I agree with the previous posters on the fact that the drive-thru is just that: a DRIVE-thru (as I understand it, it is for security reasons) but I'm just surprised at the fact that BofA would even let you do ANYTHING to your husband's acct without you being on it (I would get it if you had his ATM card but the OP stated that was not the case) As a BofA customer, I've always being carded (ATM or ID) and if I'm not on the account S.O.L. Then again I've never used a D/T teller that has tubes (?).
