What I do not understand is why the desk clerk did not assign you the King suite and the 2 Queen room I would think this would be somewhat equal to your space needs. And sitting aside the fact that you had a HHonors reservation, it seems unlikely that at that time of night that any more guests would arrive and thus it seems those rooms would have been empty the rest of the night. Tus the hotel would have lost no revenue from assigning you two rooms. Now add in HHonors reservation to the mix and it sure seems like that's what they should have done. In fact even if they lost revenue they should have done it.
