Cute Rowdy....

I set the alarm off atleast once a week for several reasons--usually because I didn't come in through the front door. If I go through the front door, it is second nature to grab the key fob and disable the alarm as soon as I open the door. If I come in through the garage, I either get side tracked putting groceries away (there's no sensor in the kitchen) and then walk into the hall, put my purse away and walk into the bedroom to change, and the alarm goes off!
What does it matter if you have to decide whether to call 911 or not? ADT automatically calls 911! If they reach the customer and its just a false alarm, they call the police back and cancel! If I am not home and my alarm goes off, I have no way of knowing if someone broke in so you better believe I am going to call 911 and have the police secure my property before I return home! I would rather have the police respond to a false alarm, then to come home and find a burglar in my house! You may not be impressed but you have no experience with the system. I personally don't see a need for an alarm system to call a third party who in turns calls me and the police. My system calls ME and I call the police. It takes all of 15 seconds to relay my address to the dispatcher. The call center has to read off my info to the dispatcher while I know my address by heart. Besides, I can get a faster response time than ADT anyday!
