Re: Free Super Saver Shipping takes forever, why?
by Jim S. - Posted Mon September 12, 2011 @ 6:27 PM

Yes, I have ordered via Free Super Saver Shipping many times before and noticed Amazon lagging lately. The best thing to do is to CANCEL your order if they don't ship it in a timely fashion. Customer service told me I could expedite my order, but I just CANCELLED it instead since the CANCEL button option was still available provided the item hasn't shipped. Furthermore, Amazon cannot charge your credit card until the item has physically shipped. Overall, their slowness benefits the consumer as you can change your mind if you find a better deal elsewhere! Bad business on their part but advantageous to the consumer in the long run.
