Nobody is perfect
by texasgurl - Posted Sun November 27, 2011 @ 5:27 PM

I bought a movie from Target that didn't work and had to fight to get a new one at no cost to me because it was on sale when I bought it and when I returned it the sale was over. That's supposed to be the policy but there is no way I'm paying an extra $5 for a movie just because it didn't work the first time I bought it. I don't buy movies at Target anymore because of their return policy. As much as I understand the need for a strict policy on games and dvds, I also refuse to continue to be cheated (or attempted to be cheated) by a super strict policy. I have bought 3 dvds from Target (different locations) and all 3 of them have had to be taken back and argued over. I now buy my dvds other places but I still shop at Target from time to time because, in the end, they did give me what I needed. Just like how I don't buy books from Wal-Mart anymore. They are well known for having pages (sometimes entire chapters) missing from their books. I don't know why, I've never had this problem when buying books from anywhere else. There are lots of stores I don't go to for some things but will for others. As the saying goes, "nobody is perfect" including your favorite stores.
