Just because your child makes strait A's doesn't mean every child will. Bringing home lower grades also doesn't mean the child is stupid or lazy. Also, every child is different and learns in their own way. This goes for disciplen as well. Spanking does not work on every child. Neither does time out. A parent should know what works best for their child and use it. The rest of the world should but out. I mean seriously, I get being upset if nothing is being done to make a child behave but if the child acts up and the parent threatening no TV when they get home makes the child behave then who cares. Just bacause that is not how you would handle it doesn't mean its wrong.
