Yup, he sounds like a lousy vet. I suggest you speak with other pet owners and get a recommendation/referral from someone you can trust.

Honestly, PLEASE PLEASE report this guy to the appropriate licensing agency for this state. Hopefully, others have complained as well and some action should be taken.
