You know, sometimes if it sounds too good to be true, it is. I agree the ad is poorly laid out but it looks like it was a local ad, for that store only. Yeah, the cashier was wrong but sometimes people just don't know all the answers. If it was me, I would have said, I'm not sure sir, please go to customer service to clarify.

While I would expect the store to make some small concession for the confusion, I think asking them to take a $400 hit is a little much.

Since I don't know the going rate for manure I have to assume that $.97 per bag is already a good price.
