I had one for a bit over two years; it worked for one of them. The sump died about a month after the warranty ran out. We fixed it once, and then six months later the sump died again. We junked it and got a bottom of the line GE that's worked just fine ever since. By the time I got a response other than "sorry, you didn't buy the extended warranty" from LG we'd waited six months with a busted machine and then bought something else.

The LGs then had several known issues, one of which was the sump. They should have been fixed under recall but the company were too cheap. Don't wait for these clowns to do the right thing; chances are they won't.
