Re: TD Bank is ripping people off

You're spot on and righteous in your complaint. This type of crap happens all the time... the banks rely on the fact that you will not "catch it" or pay attention and just deal with it like a banking victim. THAT'S how they make most of their money. There was an entire article written up that I will find and post that talks about the revenue generated by fees being CRUCIAL to the banking industry to stay in business. It is a documented protocol strategy. I ALWAYS ask to have any questionable fees removed... I ALWAYS state my case until I have beat a dead horse and usually if the fees are at all questionable, unjustified or unethical (even in my own eyes and I can argue the point effectively)... then 99% of the time they remove the fees. No one wants to have a law suit or multiple and gaining momentum "Bad Consumer Reports" which is your power in the war against institutional greed... like a version of a CREDIT REPORT for them! Just like PayPal.. who is neither a bank or basically anything... you have to take them to the mat or they will rob you.
