Be glad you're not in California
by PepperElf - Posted Tue July 3, 2012 @ 12:38 PM

Cos in California in at least one city (San Fran) and one county (Silicon Valley) you don't get toys period.

The local legislation banned them from issuing toys with kids meals, claiming it helps fight obesity.

And I love how you claim they're "taking away from children"....

I looked this charity thing up online and they're DONATING TO CHILDREN.

Welcome 2012! And with a new year, comes new ideas! Effective January 1st, we will no longer be offering toys in our Wacky Pack children’s meals.

Instead, we will be making a donation to local youth charities for every Wacky Pack meal sold. Donations will be made on a quarterly basis with a focus on childhood education and youth outreach programs. The selected charities and the amount donated to each will be announced quarterly. **Like this post if you think this is a super idea, like we do!

So while you claim they're stealing from your children, they're REALLY donating to local youth charities and sponsoring education.

Yeah I can see how sinister that sounds.
