Handicapped shopping carts

Handicapped shopping carts are merely a convenience to the shopper, not an ADA requirement. As long as the store is handicapped accessible, then the store is in compliance.

It costs money to buy the handicapped shopping carts as well as to repair them. If the store does not have the funds in their budget to do either, then the cost is passed on to the consumer, like you.
