The reason why you were "forced" to buy another suit is because you did not try on your suit BEFORE the wedding. You tried it on the DAY of the wedding. In order to make the needed alterations, you have to try on the suit well before the wedding takes place. That way the alterations can be done in a timely manner, & you will not have to spend the money on another suit the day of the wedding.

The suit cannot be returned & refunded because it was altered. It is no longer the original size when you tried it on at Nordstrom's.

I understand that you are pissed at Nordstrom's, but you did not try the suit well before the wedding took place. I would be pissed at myself if I did that, NOT at the store.

I do not see how the manger telling you no, your altered suit cannot be returned = being treated as a criminal. I also do not understand how you were insulted just because the manager told you no, your altered suit cannot be returned.
