Not being greeted at a store is not rudeness, maybe the staff was busy. In your post you say that five different employees crossed your path, why didn't you simply ask one of them for help? I have shopped at countless places, and in many of them the staff has not greeted me. If I needed help, I walked a little until I found an employee. NOT ONCE was I refused service. Sometimes, I was in the wrong department or the employee wasn't familiar with what I was looking for, even then the employee would find an intercom or take me to another staff member who would be able to help me. These people can't read your mind. If you need help, just ask.
