Every store I have worked at does this. We have to look in luggage, plastic boxes, that kind of stuff. Color doesn't matter. It is a part of our job. If somebody didn't do it then they aren't doing their job.
The process actually has an acronym.
L - ook
I- n
A- ll
B- oxes/bags
Or Lisa can mean look inside always, depending on what company it is.
