**Companies that claim to care yet make it nearly impossible to get in touch with a human being

I have to comment. I worked for a book company that marked books down. (And who knows what else) Letters and phone calls came in asking for Mr. (I forget). When I took these calls quite frequently from angry telephoners, I was told by my female boss that I was to tell them he is on vacation, away, not in at his desk right now, etc. I asked why? She said because there is NO SUCH PERSON. It was a scam!!
