I finally got a check cut for my $500.00 deductible from the resort. The top GM was very nice and apologetic and after their insurance denied us he took control of the situation. He was also apologetic for the way the manager on duty (Phil) acted and what he said to us.

Phil had told us that if they had to put a gate in the property he would have to charge $900.00 a night. He also told us that it was open to the public, what should he do about it? Nice guy, NOT! By the way they do have "security guards". I wonder what they were doing at the time? Probably sleeping!

Anyway, here's the big news.

We bought a house!

We will be moving hopefully in the beginning of October providing that there won't be any delays. We are soo excited!
