The time to research these things is way before purchasing a console. It's a shame so many people jump on the wrong bandwagon time and time again and expect the company to make games for somththing they are "totally convinced that Nintendo Gamecube was a throw away console" It may well WAS. So something new and better came along that sells much better...why waste R&D money on a game for an outdated system.
It's a dog eat dog competitive environment... one company blinks one too many times and they lose!!!
