Wal-Mart's response to me:
by Sava - Posted Tue November 7, 2006 @ 12:11 PM

I don't know if Wal-Mart has some drone sitting at a desk somewhere firing off form-letters in response to complaints, but I was VERY disappointed by the e-mail I received from them in reply to the letter I've posted here on Planet Feedback. In the e-mail, I was asked to provide all sorts of information that I had already clearly provided in my original letter. Also, it asked for the location and store number of the Wal-Mart where I'd had the problem - even though I had stated that the problem was NOT with a particular store location, but with the Faded Glory brand itself.

I'm sure it was just a form letter, and I understand that due to the sheer volume of complaints they probably get, they can't personally respond to each one. But I'd prefer to get no response at all than just a form letter that suggests that no one even read my original letter anyway - or at least not in enough depth to understand my concerns.

The e-mail did encourage me to respond with additional information, so I had to basically re-type everything I wrote in my original letter by way of explanation as to my complaint. Hopefully, this time someone will read it and take my constructive criticism seriously. I would love to see the Faded Glory brand restored to reflect decent quality at low prices.
