Leaking Nuby sippy cup
by Angela G. - Posted Tue December 21, 2004 @ 12:00 AM

I'm sure you know how important your products are to the people who buy them, so I hope you are willing to take seriously my complaint about your company's performance. My complaint concerns Nuby soft spout cup.

Hello
I am writing about the Nuby sippy cups. Since I weaned my son from the bottle and heard from a friend that by starting him on a nuby cup is the best transition from bottle to cup, I decided to give them a try. I purchased one cup from Walmart two months ago. I was very pleased with the cup for about a month until it started leaking when the cup was on it's side. I could not do anything with the cup except throw it away. I had heard very good things about your company so I decided to give the cup another try. I purchased another one from Walmart and it leaked as soon as I put milk in the cup. So I returned to Walmart to exchange the cup. I am now on my third Nuby cup....and it is leaking as well. I keep a very close eye on my son when he is drinking out of his cup or eating so I know this leak is not the result of wear and tear. My son drinks out of the cup, and that is all. I would like to know if you are having similar problems and what can be done about the leaking cups. I do not put warm or hot fluids in the cup. They do not go in the dishwasher and they are washed in luke warm water.

Thank you
Angela

As a result of this, I don't know whether I would buy from your company again, and I don't think I can recommend you to others that I know.

Here's what I'd like to see happen: I would like to know what can be done about the cups since I cannot return them to the store.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your prompt attention to this letter would be greatly appreciated.
