Calling companies directly

Here's a letter to the Planetfeedback community - I know that Planetfeedback provides a wonderful service but sometimes you can save time by calling the company directly.
I have a ViewSonic monitor that is about 10 months old - still under warranty. I called the company because I am having problems with it, and within 5 minutes they sent me a form to fax back - they will send me a new monitor, and when I receive it, I need to return the old one. Simple - I was polite, the technician was polite and I got exactly what I needed.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't use PlanetFeedback - just suggesting that a simple call to the company can be faster and give you the results you want.
