English please
by Ron W. - Posted Mon October 16, 2006 @ 5:43 PM

I know that I may sound like a Red-Neck, but what I am is an American, who is tired of companies hiring employees as customer contact employees, that do not speak english. Unless I am wrong, the last time that I checked, this is still America. I was in store number 4208 today. It appeared that every person behind the counter, spoke spanish. When they dealt with a customer, they spoke english, but behind the counter, all of the conversation was in spanish. Then there was one employee, who had not mastered ketchup and lemon juice. She gave me ketchup and honey. Then she had NO idea what lemon juice was. I guess that she assumed that she would give me something that may or may not be what I asked for. My order was also incorrect, and I had to try to explain to her what was wrong. She then spoke spanish to a co-worker, to translate what I was saying. Excuse me, but I am the citizen here. Does Popeye's have a policy of hiring only Legal employees?

Please do not put anyone in a position talking to customers, that cannot speak english.
