Closed on a Saturday Night?
by Neal M. - Posted Wed November 8, 2006 @ 11:37 PM

My Mom and I are regular customers at your Fort Lauderdale location on Andrews Ave. We eat there at least a few times monthly.

A few days ago, we each received promotional emails regarding your Thanksgiving menu. It so happens, that this year, we are looking to dine out for Thanksgiving. Normally, Steak and Ale would have been our first choice. But we may not be eating there at all anymore.

A few weeks ago, I made a reservation for my Mom and me on a Saturday evening. (I do not recall the exact date.) When we tried to open the front door, it was locked, although we saw people inside. An employee, (a young man,) opened the door and told us the restaurant was closed. Apparently, the chef and a few waitresses never showed up for work. Some customers, on their way out, said they had been
waiting for their meals for over 1-1/2 hours and that "we have had it!"

How can we be assured that you will be open on Thanksgiving Day? Please inform me, whether or not, you are reasonable certain that we can count on the restaurant being open.

Sincerely,
Neal M
