I have a Chase credit card and I made my December payment early, which is due on 12/16. I made the payment on 11/27 and they are informing me that I still have to make a December payment, because my billing statement was not closed out when the payment was received. Now I am thinking this is a rip off, since they are the ones that will benefit, if I do not make another payment in December I will be charge a late fee and my interest rate will certainly increase, whaich is to their advantage.
