Is the refer a friend bonus a bogus promotion?
by John K. - Posted Wed January 16, 2008 @ 12:49 AM

I recently established new service with T-mobile online; based on the fact that someone I am close to has been with them for quite some time and is very happy. I tried to reward the existing customer with their referral bonus, and did not find a place to enter this information during my ordering process. I emailed my concern and was told that I needed to go to the STORE where I activated service and request the referral bonus to be applied to my friend's account. Here is the problem: I DID NOT ACTIVATE MY SERVICE IN A RETAIL STORE. Is the referral bonus a bogus promotion?

Allow me to submit to you my friend's tmobile phone number and apply the $25 referral credit to her account. Also adjust your ordering process to allow this information to be entered before accepting the order.
