I went to Toys R Us in Rowland Heights, California to return 2 Transformer toys today. It is the 90th day since the purchase and someone who seems like a manager at the store, gave me a hard time with the return. She claims that she does not know if it has passed the 90th day and I asked her to just add up the days and she'd find it IS the 90th day. She went on saying she doesn't know how many days there are in November so she just needs to go to another place to check the calendar. (I think her logic is that if November has 31 days then it'd make it the 91st day since purchase). I told her there are only 30 days in November and she just does not believe me and went to another department to check the calendar and left me waiting for 15 minutes! She did realize that it in fact is within the 90 day time frame and let me return the stuffs.

I just do not understand why she needs to check how many days there are in November instead of just turn around and ask her coworkers standing right next to her. I also do not understand why it took her 15 minutes to check the calendar. I think she deliberately gave me a hard time and I was not pleased with the process.

Being a loyal customer who probably spent around $3000 during Christmas last year at Toys R Us, I do not think it'd be likely for me to come back again. TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEEs ABOUT CALENDARS!
