poor quality of food
by Jae F. - Posted Sun July 27, 2008 @ 8:58 PM

My wife and I decided that since Pizza Hut has put so much effort into telling the public about the pasta on the menu, we should give it a try. We also figured that since we were being adventurous, we should also try the P'Zone and the Hershey's Chocolate Dunkers. I wish I could say something nice about any of those items, sadly I cannot. The pasta (meaty marinara) tasted, for lack of a better term, like cafeteria food. Not only was there a serious lack of flavor, but the pasta (I'm guessing that it is rotini noodles) was WAY over cooked. The P'Zone tasted like string cheese was used instead of actual mozzarella. The Hershey's Chocolate Dunkers were just Cinnamon Sticks with chocolate sprinkled over the top. Maybe I should not have had such high expectations for my order, but I at least expected something that would stand up to Pizza Hut's high standards of quality. To sum up my complaint, the food was just plain awful.

It seems that as the menu expands the quality of food decreases. This latest experience has made me and my wife skeptical of trying anything new at Pizza Hut. I would much prefer a smaller menu with the reliability of a quality product.
