Strawberries at IHOP
by Amanda D. - Posted Wed July 22, 2009 @ 12:00 PM

Hello, my name is Amanda and I recently dined at IHOP in Washington D.C. I'm from Canada and was on vacation, and this was the first time I've ever been to IHOP because there is only one in my province, nowhere near where I live. Anyway, the food I ordered was awesome, the service was excellent, and I really enjoyed myself.
I do have one suggestion, however. I ordered french toast with bananas and strawberries, and although it was delicious, I really thought it would have been nicer if the strawberries had been fresh. They were the preserved, syrupy kind of berries that you find in a jar of jam. I found them far too sweet, and they didn't taste like strawberries at all, so I pushed them aside. I know that it would probably be more expensive to have fresh berries, and they would not last as long as preserved berries, but I think your customers would enjoy them more. Just something to think about.
Anyway, I hope that more IHOPs are built in Ontario! The only one here seems to be the one in Niagara Falls, which is a couple of hours away from here. Thanks for the delicious meal!
