Awesome customer service from the manager

Two friends and I went for lunch at Applebees in Times Square on New Year's Day. While our lunch experience was not that great, I wanted to commend the high quality customer service of the manager on duty at approximately 2:30 PM. Unfortunately I did not get the gentleman's name, but I hope you will be able to connect it with the roster. He did tell us he'd come on duty at 6am, so perhaps that will help.
When we asked for the manager to come to our table due to a sub par food/customer service experience with our waiter, he responded promptly and with extreme good humour without making light of the situation. He recognized the situation and promised to address it, while also making sure we didn't leave with a bad taste, which we didn't. This is the ideal way a manager should handle a customer service complaint and he should be commended for doing so.
Kudos to either good training and/or hiring the right people to be in customer facing roles especially in such a high-traffic location. This Manager certainly turned around a mediocre lunch experience and sent us out the door laughing.
