Why Is My Business No Longer Valued?
by Chad G. - Posted Thu November 11, 2010 @ 5:52 PM
Dear Sir or Madam,
In regards to your Brewer, ME location.
On Thursday, November 11 I attempted to place a delivery order for one medium pepperoni pizza. I have placed this order many times before and never had a problem. Today, when i called, they asked for my phone number, took my order and then asked how i would be paying. I stated that I would be using my Visa Debit card. She asked for the card number and then told me that the order did not cost enough to qualify for delivery. I told her that I've placed this order several times before without a problem, she simply repeated that the order did not cost enough. I said "ok never mind then" and hung up.
I work in a convenience store by myself, so pickup is not an option. I value delivery service, I tip well and I dont complain about the steep delivery charge. I would just like to know why all of a sudden my order does not qualify for delivery. In my book, if you are going to charge extra for delivery, then order size should not matter. Several local places do not charge for delivery and are significantly cheaper than Pizza Hut, but I prefer your pizza.
I would like an explanation as to why my order no longer qualifies for delivery, and why my business is apparently no longer valued. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, I hope to hear from you soon
Sincerely
Chad G.
