bad brake job- you need to check your work!

A couple of years ago, I had my brakes done at the Firestone in Speedway Indiana.when i picked up the car, they felt really choppy, and I had to bring the car back to them to adjust and smooth out. I no longer have my receipt, because at the time after i had brought it back to them it seemed fine, and by now they would be out of warranty anyway. About 2 weeks ago, the car started making a clunking sound when braking and I could feel the vibration in the brake pedal. It got progressively worse so I took it to the CarX close to where i live now. they said it was the drums and that they were filed down too thin and wore out much faster than they should have. they said, its likely they were defective so I just spent $265 on work, that I should not have had to have done this soon.( I only put about 10,000 miles on it a year)
I think The techs at firestone should take more care to do the job right.Test drive the cars.think of it as you would think of your own car. would you be satisfied with the way it drives? for example if the brakes feel choppy, fix it before the customer picks it up.And by fix i mean, replace parts if they are defective, don't half ass it. It will save you time in the long run and make for happy customers too.
