Walmart Pharmacy doesn't care about customers
by Tasha B. - Posted Tue January 17, 2012 @ 8:14 PM

I called in a prescription by automation to the WalMart Pharmacy. I proceeded to pick it up after work and upon arrival the young man at station tube told me that my prescription was ready and the price would be $4.00. I usually do no carry cash and thereby use my debit card for purchases. The young man then stated to me that their online transactions that process cards was down and they could not accept my card. I stated to him that I had no cash on hand whatsoever and asked him if they could possibly give me 1 or 2 pills and come back and pick up the rest the next day and pay for them because I was totally out. This medication is synthroid for my thyroid condition. He then said no they couldn't. That they do not have a bill policy. We were only talking about $4.00 and now I have to go without my medication for a day because I couldn't be trusted with $4.00. I didn't ask for the whole bottle, just 1 or 2 pills. I plan to move my business to another pharmacy that will accomodate their customers. BTW, I have been a long time customer of the pharmacy.

Reevaluate your customer's needs and put them first!
