Hello. recently pulled my credit report and saw that I had a charge off from 2009. I do not dispute this debt, however I am writing to ask if you would be kind enough to delete the report from my credit file. You see, at that time my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, so my wife and I chose to get married in a rushed wedding so that she could be a pratt of it. Thankfully, she was, but a very short time later she passed away. In all this a lot of our mail/bills got mixed up/ lost, and while I'm sure you did attempt to contact me, I honestly never received anything. In my defense, once I did realize that the debt was mine I paid in full. I was offered a settlement for less than the amount, but wanted to pay the entire debt. I am now trying to get a newer car for my wife, son and I, and deleting this off of my report would go a very long way in helping me get there. I appreciate your time in reading this, and if you are able to delete this from my credit report, I am very gratefull, and thank you very, very much.
